Police in Jamestown, Accra, have arrested ten people following a violent clash in the area on Sunday.
In an attack sparked by a chieftaincy dispute, a car was set on fire and the windows of other vehicles were smashed.
Following the incident, there was a heavy security deployment to the Jamestown palace during a visit to the community.
In an interview with Citi News, the Priest of the Jamestown Palace, Nii Ayitey Konko V, called on the government and opinion leaders to intervene and resolve the chieftaincy dispute in the area.
He told how Asher, a priest who claims to be the rightful heir to the Jamestown throne, keeps attacking the Palace with land guards in his quest to be crowned king.
