Ashley Olsen and Louis Eisner married six years after they were first linked in 2017. Learn about the wedding of the notoriously private couple.
It takes two to make a knot!
“I do,” Ashley Olsen and Louis Eisner have said. The Row designer and L.A.-based artist have married in a private ceremony on December 28, according to multiple media outlets.
The couple were joined by loved ones at a Bel-Air home for the special day, according to Page Six, who was the first to report the nuptials.
Ashley, 36, and Louis, 33, were first romantically linked in 2017, when they were spotted out together on several occasions.
They were then seen taking a PDA-filled stroll around Bel Air in 2018. A source told E! News at the time that they “They appeared to be very at ease with each other. [Eisner] wrapped his arm around her and they talked the entire time.”
When Ashley was seen out to dinner with Louis in Los Angeles the following year, romance rumours gave way to engagement rumours. Despite the excitement surrounding the sighting, the couple never addressed the speculation.
The couple kept their relationship a secret for as long as they could. They didn’t make their red carpet debut until 2021, at the YES 20th Anniversary Celebration at The Maybourne Beverly Hills, Ashley’s first in over two years.
Ashley and her sister Mary-Kate Olsen spoke to i-D in July 2021 about why they choose to live such private lives. Mary-Kate explained that she and her sister are simply “discreet people” who “were raised” that way.
Though they prefer to stay out of the spotlight these days, one thing is certain: This Full House has grown by one.
