Rapper Black Sherif from Ghana has once again helped boost Ghana internationally. He recently accomplished the feat of winning the Best Hip Hop Act at the recently held Soundcity MVP Awards Festival in Nigeria, beating well-known acts like MI Abaga and Nasty C.
Black Sherif has been included on the second song, “Blood, Sweat & Tears,” off the official soundtrack for the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster franchise, CREED III. This is the most recent good news.
Naturally, since the announcement earlier this week, Ghanaians and his fans have welcomed the news with great excitement and pride.
One of the three artists on the song is Blacko, also referred to as Black Sherif.
The full soundtrack, produced by Dreamville, the record label run by American rapper J Cole, will be released on Friday, March 3rd, and will feature Bas and Kel-p.
Thanks to Black Sherif’s enchanting voice, fans have been anticipating which scenes in the film would feature the soundtrack.
With fans expressing their utmost pride, particularly on social media about the latter’s exploits, the most recent news has sparked new conversations about the Black Sherif brand.
Michael B. Jordan directed the third installment of the acclaimed franchise, which will feature music from artists on the Dreamville roster and beyond.
Along with Proximity Media (Ryan Coogler, Ludwig Göransson, Archie Davis), Outlier Society (Michael B. Jordan), and Executive Music Producer Frank Brim, Dreamville will executive produce the official soundtrack to CREED III.
