Ghana Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif has urged the Black Stars to appoint a strong technical team, believing that it is the key to the team’s success.
The Ghana Football Association is set to appoint a new technical team after the mandate of the Otto Addo-led team expires following the World Cup.
Otto Addo resigned after Ghana failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar, finishing last in Group H, along with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.
Ghana won only one of three games, falling to Portugal and Uruguay while narrowly defeating South Korea.
“Our team is very young. What happened in Qatar demonstrates that we have a bright future, and if we keep the team together and find a good technical team to man them, we will surprise the world “According to Kumasi-based Pure FM, he said.
“We have talents from 20, 21, and 22 years old, and if you look at what Kudus Mohammed demonstrated, we will have a good future if we can play together for a long time,” he added.
0Ghana’s best player in Qatar was Kudus, who scored two goals and assisted on one.
