Asante Kotoko executives paid a visit to the family of late footballer Christian Atsu to express their condolences.
The former Black Stars player died last Saturday after being trapped under rubble for nearly two weeks following a horrific earthquake in Turkey.

The footballer’s mortal remains arrived in Ghana on Sunday, and funeral preparations have since begun.
The CEO of the Kumasi-based club, Nana Yaw Amponsah, led a delegation to pay respects at Atsu’s home in Accra as a show of support.

Since Monday, a number of friends, loved ones, and sympathisers have visited the family, including some former Black Stars players who arrived yesterday.
On Saturday, March 4, 2022, there will be a one-week memorial service in honour of the former Chelsea and Porto player.
