Supervising officials from the Electoral Commission at the Adentan Constituency, who are overseeing the presidential and parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress, have refused to accept a forged delegates list that was illicitly introduced by an unidentified individual.
According to Akosua Otchere of Citi News, who reported from De Youngster’s International School, some delegates who were monitoring the process alerted the EC officials about the list, stating that it did not originate from the party’s authorized sources.
A video that went viral shows the EC official informing police officers that the list is counterfeit and not an authentic document provided to the EC by the NDC provided to the EC by the NDC.
Akosua reported that the police officers stationed at the polling station are attempting to identify the delegate who illicitly introduced the unofficial list. The officers confiscated the list from the EC official and are now making efforts to uncover the individual responsible.
The current Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Adamu Ramadan, is facing strong competition from former Gender Minister Nana Oye Bampoe Addo and Linda Aasibi Awuni.
