The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, is furious over a music video released by American rapper Meek Mill that was shot at Ghana’s government headquarters, Jubilee House.
He has thus called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to sack persons who allowed the rapper to “desecrate” the Jubilee House with his “explicit lyrics”.
Mr. Ablakwa expressed his concerns on social media after Meek Mill shared portions of the video on his Instagram reel.
Meek Mill and his crew can be seen rapping and dancing at the Jubilee House in the viral video.
Later, the crew took some shots in front of the lectern, which was mostly used by the President during national addresses.
The North Tongu legislator wondered on Facebook if the Jubilee House, the seat of government, was no longer a security installation.
“All those responsible for Meek Mill’s heinous desecration of the Jubilee House must be fired immediately,” Mr. Ablakwa raged.
