Twinamatsiko Nelson, the station manager for 91.5 Kanungu FM, was caught on camera brutally beating up an employee named Tumuramye Anita over a business commission in this now-viral video clip. She brought in a job and requested a UGx 12k (3.29USD or Ghc 40 equivalent at the time of publication) agreed commission.
Mr. Twinamatsiko Nelson, the current manager, and Tumuramye Anita aka Anita Rose got into a feast fight after a business landed and they all claimed it in terms of commission.
Prior to the said Nelson being posted as the station Manager, Anita Rose was the station receptionist and cashier until the said Nelson threw her out, claiming the positions of cashier, receptionist, radio presenter, and station manager.
Following the fight, Anita Rose was barred from hosting some of her station’s programmes.
The Kanungu FM Radio station is run by the Hon. Chris Baryomunsi, Minister for ICT and National Guidance and Member of Parliament for Kinkizi County East. It is situated in the Kanungu district, a short distance from the town council and close to the Kanungu Resort Hotel.
